Teen Zine Submission Form
Submission Information
You may submit your own, original writing, photos, and/or artwork (black & white or color) to be considered for publication in Teen Zine. We’re looking for short stories, poems, reviews (of books, movies, music), jokes, tips, true stories, essays, journalistic reporting, letters, photos, comics, drawings or other artwork.
Submissions will not be returned, so make and keep copies of your work!
All submissions received will be reviewed by Teen Zine members.
Selected submissions will be printed in Teen Zine. If your work is selected, you will be contacted by email or phone and we’ll reserve a copy of that issue of Teen Zine for you at the library’s Reference Desk.
Teen Zine is published quarterly (winter, spring, summer, fall).
You can submit your work in a couple of ways.
1. Print and fill out a Teen Zine Submission Form, and turn it in at the Reference Desk with your submission.
2. Submit online using the form below. Text submissions can be cut and pasted into the textbox below. Alternatively, you can upload text or picture files using the upload option. If your files already have a home on the web, you can submit a link.
For your information:
Everyone who participates in the Teen Zine automatically gives the Huntley Area Public Library the right to publish appropriate submissions. The library may promote the entries in newspapers, in library brochures and/or in other library publications (such as Teen Zine), and on the library Website.
